Clock

Patrick Villance
Over on Table 7 Patrick Villance has moved all in for roughly 26,000 on a board that read 3sKsJsJh4s and his table mate is contemplating the call that is for his whole stack.

2-3 minutes pass and somebody has called clock, TD Jp McCann arrives to the table and gets the low down on whats the what at the current moment in time, explanation from the dealer and Jp decides that the player in question who is put to a test for his tournament life is generally pretty quick in the decisions he makes so the ruling is that there will be extra time allowed for the player to ponder what to do.

Player in question after about 15 seconds mucks his hand while Villance turns over JdJc for quads.

I personally like to see stuff like this I think it was a fair and good ruling.

  1. ithink you are wrong. Yes the dealer if instructed should be able to give a penalty. Also it is dreadful table etiquette for the player folding to expose his cards
