High Roller Day 1 Wrap Up

Chip Leader
That is that for the night we started play with 7 players but that eventually grew to 19 and we currently have 8 of those remaining, Stephen O Dwyer was out first player eliminated today which was a shame to see from what I know/hear he is suppose to be a top class player, also in attendance today we had 2010 WSOP Jonathan Duhamel who late regged but it just didn't go his way and was busted in about 1 hour but he will be back for the Main Event.

Coming up to the end of play tonight and John Eames seemed to take the roll of table captain as I had noted earlier and bossing the table around somewhat even winning the last hand of the night uncontested to leave him as chipleader, as far as I know the final 8 from the HR will be live streamed tomorrow and play will resume at 1pm.

From tomorrow onwards we will be covering the Main Event and a multitude of other side events, so please do swing by to follow all the action from the blog/stream.

Here is what they are playing for.

1st - €19,450

2nd - €11,670

3rd - €7,350

4th - €4,755

Chipcounts,

John Eames - 179,400

Max Silver - 139,600

Tim Farrelly - 176,500

Andrew Hulme - 41,800

Jason Tompkins - 160,800

Dan Carter - 71,400

Marc McDonnell - 108,900
