No Luck for Short Stacks

I have just seen two shorts stacks bust out in quick succession as it seems to be the day of the big stacks as we close in on 100 players remaining.

The first of them was Jalal Bennadi who shoved for around 20,000 with pocket nines, he nearly got it through until the big blind made the call with K-J. Jack on the flop and that's enough to end Jalal's tournament, unless he re enters tomorrow.

The second was Alexandre Gama, it was folded round to him on the button, he pushed his 26k across the line, he was looked up by Phil Baker in the small blind holding A-J, Alexandre turned over pocket sixes. The flop dealt 8--9--2, the turn card was a 3. The river was a ACE!! Sick for Alex as he is rivered. He heads out the tournament as Phil Baker moves upto 95,000.
