I mentioned earlier in the blog about Anthony "The Chief" McConnell he is still running riot, I mention to Brian Lannon from D4 Events I should probably go and check to see how the The Chief is going, I arrive to the table to see him involved in a hand with Stephen Sammon who he got lucky on earlier, board reads 7hAh8sKs Sammon bets 4,000 which The Chief quickly calls, River 7c and Sammon checks his option and The Chief bets 5,000 and Sammon calls sharpish and The Chief triumphantly turns over 4s7s and Sammon not bemoaning the suckout just bursts out laughing.

I'm strolling by the table a couple minutes later and the board read 5h7s5s2hQs and The Chief bet 9k into Jens Hartwig who is sitting there shaking his head in disbelief, eventually calls the 9k to the shown 7h7c for a full house, the other players on the table just don't know what to make of him, Nicky Power called me aside and was telling me about a hand where The Chief called some guy all the way to the river with 3rd pair and was good and comes out with his line "don't you know who your playing with"
