That is that for Day 1a of the D4 Events European Short Handed Event here at the Regency in Dublin, it's been a busy busy day with a room full of hustle and bustle.
343 was the final tally for todays participants with 24 of those as re-entries the clock currently reads 126 players remaining but is certainly less. With 400+ expected for tomorrow it will created a very nice prizepool.
We got off to a quick start when Roman Milan was the first player eliminated and he received free entry into Saturdays €300 tournament after that there was a host of eliminations seems like some people don't mind getting 400 bigs in very early on. Few players on re-entry today Dara O Kearney & Gaelle Baumann were two off the top of my head who had two bullets from today, Baumann will certainly be back will O Kearney???
Those who made it through from Day 1a will have a one day break and will get a chance to take in some of the sight & sounds of Dublin city & will return on Saturday at 1pm to join up with the remaining players from Day 1b.

Having a wander at the end of the night and Dominique Picot looks to be one of the bigger stacks in the room, will he be the Day 1a chipleader? Chip counts will be posted as I receive them.
