296 kicked off Day 2 with a raft of quick eliminations from the get go and throughout the coarse of the day, by the end of the 5th level we had a lost nearly half the field and as the day wore on I was surprised that we got so close to the money, usually things tighten up around the money but the players were just ploughing on. Blog took a hit for a bit as I switched to the live stream to provide some commentary, cheers to the lads that jumped in Rob O Connor/Paul Higgins
At end of play I managed to chat with Marc MacDonnell who was chip leader for a good portion of todays action after coming into Day 2 as chip leader but a bad run of cards he ended up walking into quads twice took it's toll and ended up finishing on 350,000 on the flipside of that Noel O Brien was one of the last people to register last night and didn't end up turning up for play till this afternoon, starting the day with 41,900 chips and swung up to 700,000 and down to a low of 103,000 but has subsequently gone on to finish the day as chipleader and will be leading Day 3 tomorrow with a stack of 1,286,500 but has a couple of million+ stacks nipping at his heels. Please come and join us once again tomorrow where we will bring you all of the Day 3 coverage and play down to our final table of 9, cheers to everybody that tuned into todays coverage.
