475 runners for Day 1b & with 343 from Day 1a for a combined total of 818 entrants that made for a €400,000 prizepool and out of those 84 players will walk away with something.
We will be coming back tomorrow with less than 300 runners when Day 1a & Day 1b join up for Day 2. Total of 57 re-entries of the coarse of the two starting days added a decent chunk to the overall prizepool also adds a dynamic to how the game can be played, Gaelle Baumann took advantage of this as she entered 3 times but I heard for tournament organiser Mike Lacey that one of the Winamax pros entered the maximum 4 times. Last years champion Steven King will be back with his tomorrow to defend his title.
As always folks thank you for tuning into todays coverage, it was a bit of quieter day for the blog as a couple of bikini clad woman sent the room into a frenzy. The day got off to a quick start when we had a bust out within in the first 5 minutes of play when KK couldn't lay down pre flop to AA. Coverage of Day 2 will be back here from 1pm so please do stop by once more.
Cedric Mahot looks to be one of the chipleaders from Day 1b with a stack of around 160,000
